Senior Process Water Engineer

From designing and maintaining key water infrastructure to advising on natural catchments and flood defences, we help clients to consider the long-term economic, environmental and social dimensions of their proposals. The Opportunity We are looking for candidates with a background in Process engineering design on multi-disciplinary projects within the municipal and industrial water sectors.

This is your chance to be part of the Water Engineering team in the Madrid office where you will be supporting local and international clients in developing concept designs to outline and detailed designs, working with multi-disciplinary teams across the globe to ensure production of deliverables to established timelines and within budget. As a Process Water Engineer at Arup, you will *

Collaborate on consulting and developing technical design projects in water purification and treatment. *

• Prepare fee proposals and feasibility studies in water projects for Spanish public administrations, private clients and Development Banks. *
• Manage water projects and process engineering teams to ensure production of deliverables to agreed timelines, within budget. *
• Coordinate with counterpart teams in other offices of the company outside Spain. Does this role inspire you? We are looking for someone proactive and dynamic that wants to further develop their career in the water business area. Ideally, you'll bring:
  * Studies in Chemical Engineering / Environmental Engineering / Public Works Engineering / Industrial Engineering (Hydraulics) /
  * At least 5 years of experience in water purification projects, including knowledge of a variety of technologies needed for the treatment of process water and wastewater.
  * Expertise in the creation of mass and energy balances, process drawings and data sheets, plant layouts, control philosophies and commissioning plans.
  
  Experience in water/hydraulic consulting/advisory projects.
  * Fluent level of English and Spanish written and spoken skills. Bonus Points if you have
  * Knowledge of Presto and GIS.
  * Experience with hydraulic design and calculation software. Conditions Immediate incorporation
