Operations Manager - Augusta, GA

The Augusta, GA Operations Manager has the overall responsibility for planning, coordination, evaluation, and supervision of all technical and operational activities for the department as well as management of all staff members for the department. Possible relocation assistance is available.

• Guides employees in their day-to-day responsibilities.
• Has management control over equipment and personnel.
• Works directly with customers.
• Manages all services and supplies with the highest quality and safety.

• 5 years of related experience in NDT
• Nuclear and/or Casting experience preferred.
• Prior Management experience.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
• Comfortable with scheduling upwards of 50 personnel.
• Conflict management and resolution.
• Applicants must pass a drug screen and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
• Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man-baskets, etc.
• Work in confined spaces which will require crawling, stooping, climbing, etc.
• Work around operating equipment and industrial environments.
• Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc.
• Work shifts up to 12 hours/day and 7 days/week and travel for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
