Ingeteam Quality Supplier Engineer

Ingeteam, a leading company specialized in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators, and frequency converters, is looking for a Quality Supplier Engineer for its facilities in Sarriguren.

Mission

Provide technical support to the Business Units to ensure that suppliers meet the specifications, procedures, and quality standards of Ingeteam, in order to avoid failures in the customer. Additionally, it will lead the management of claims and preventive/corrective actions.

Functions

• Lead the approval and classification of suppliers of the Business Units (BU) and establish the annual audit plan in coordination with the rest of the SQAs.
• Participate in the selection of suppliers and propose de-approvals when appropriate.
• Evaluate suppliers of the Business Unit and coordinate improvement plans with Business Quality.
• Execute or support quality projects with suppliers.
• Manage KPIs of the Business Unit (OQD, claims, improvement indicators).
• Coordinate the validation of processes in suppliers and support the validation of components together with R&D and Quality.
• Define and implement quality plans for suppliers according to product and process.
• Seek synergies between Business Units and unify documentation for suppliers, according to SQA criteria.
• Act as a contact point between the SQA team, suppliers, and technical areas.
• Communicate quality problems to suppliers and ensure the correct implementation of actions.
• Lead the management of NC, root cause analysis (8D, core tools), corrective and preventive measures.
• Coordinate supplier charges and manage requests for repeal.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Experience of between 3 and 5 years in a Quality Department or Technical Department.
• C1 level of English.
• Availability to travel.
• Knowledge of tools such as 8D, and other "Core-Tools" will be valued.
• Knowledge and skills in lean methodology will be valued.
