Biomethane Value Chain Project Management Expert

We are searching for a motivated colleague, who will make an impact and participate in sustainable business development while shaping the future of MOL Group's Downstream Division! Be part of MOL Group's Shape Tomorrow 2030+ Strategy implementation, join a team of dedicated professionals who drive the company to the next decade! We are looking for a Biomethane Value Chain Project Management Expert who will drive the development of assigned value chain(s) or project(s).

Depending on complexity and agreement with the Investment department, will continue management or support of relevant projects till their successful implementation or closing. The Project Management expert can support & manage fast track project till & during the execution. In implementation phase will provide business ownership over the project(s) of related value chain(s), while actively participating in the external and internal stakeholder management, and manage the market development of assigned value chain(s) in order to implement the business case successfully.

The main responsibilities:

  • Planning and executing sustainable value chain development projects, defining scope, requirements, business cases, and managing resources, timeline, and budget
  • Establishing and guiding multidisciplinary teams, providing strategic direction and handling day-to-day execution and communication
  • Actively managing market development activities in assigned areas
  • Managing multiple project teams with 3-7 team members
  • Acting as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and regular reporting
  • Identifying and addressing project risks, defining risk criteria, and ensuring implementation of risk response plans
  • Ensuring project documentation, including risks and lessons learned, to support continuous improvement and project management culture
  • Contributing to idea generation and conducting technical, commercial, and financial evaluations of new sustainable project proposals
  • Ensuring HSE Compliance:
    Overseeing safe execution and adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in engineering or another relevant field
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in at least two of the following: renewable energy production and/or market, renewable fuel or chemical production and/or market, solid waste and wastewater processing and/or market, fossil production supply chain, renewable feedstock and supply chain, expertise in relevant regulatory fields
  • Can manage and motivate project team members
  • Problem solving capabilities
  • Advanced English knowledge is required, Hungarian is a must
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Project or equivalent
  • Category B driver's license
