Test Automation Engineer
Within the Delta Intelligent Building Technologies (Delta IBT), we develop and produce in Vienna under the LOYTEC brand the next generation of integrated solutions for building automation, lighting, and security. The LOYTEC automation solutions use graphical user interfaces, open communication protocols, and follow international standards. Thus, we contribute to realizing long-term retrofittable, energy-saving, and sustainable connected buildings.
Job DescriptionYour tasks in the area of Test & Assembly include:
- Visual inspection of circuit boards and injection-molded parts, cutting and separating circuit boards
- Conducting electronic tests on standardized testing equipment
- Programming assemblies and troubleshooting according to circuit diagrams
- Performing minor repairs by manual re-soldering and documenting the repair
- Assembling electronic and mechanical assemblies for around 250 different products
You bring with you for this position:
- Completed apprenticeship (e.g. as an electrician, mechatronician, electronic information technology engineer or radio and television engineer) or professional experience in the field of electronics manufacturing
- Good ESD, SMD, and soldering skills
- Basic user skills with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong team orientation and physical resilience
- Interest in further education for the transition to new technologies
- German or English language skills. German language skills are not strictly necessary for this job. Please feel free to apply in English!

For this position, the collective agreement for workers in the iron and metalworking industry applies. The minimum salary is between € 2,627 (salary group
5) and € 2,948.85 (salary group
3) gross per month. The actual classification depends on proven education and work experience.
