Electrical Design Engineer - Automotive Parts

An Automotive Electronics Parts Research and Support Center is currently looking for an Electrical Design Engineer in Peachtree City, GA
.

• Serve as the primary electrical engineering contact for automotive OEM customers
• Lead and participate in technical meetings with customers and cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, systems, etc.)
• Drive electronic design, development, prototyping, and validation of embedded systems
• Ensure alignment with automotive requirements, testing, and validation processes
• Collaborate with global/offshore engineering teams, including teams in Japan
• Support transition from development to production and post-launch maintenance
• Other job duties are assigned as needed

• Bachelor's Degree with Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and/or related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in automotive electronics
• Experience acting as a technical contact/interface with automotive manufacturers
• Strong background in embedded systems electronic design
• Solid understanding of Automotive design requirements and Testing and validation processes
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (mechanical, software, systems)
• While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
