Director Of Technical Services

The town of Bouillargues is recruiting a director of technical services (M/F). The town of Bouillargues is recruiting a director of technical services who oversees several departments (technical services/green spaces/buildings). Reporting directly to the General Directorate of Services, he or she is an essential link in the management team. As a trusted collaborator, he or she supervises nearly 20 employees and participates in the optimal management of public facilities as well as the implementation of political projects.

Assertive manager and experienced technician, he or she knows how to carry out large-scale projects and manage teams. Source of advice and motivation, this collaborator will bring his or her vision and experience to the teams. He or she will find a place in a highly sought-after residential town in the Nîmes metropolitan area. The town has real urban challenges with various deadlines: sports zone, road and heritage renovation program … The hired collaborator will fully participate in these alongside the Mayor and deputy mayors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong ability to lead, manage and organize teams Good technical knowledge in the field of urban planning and construction (roads/buildings) Ability to plan, deploy and follow up on projects Ability to take into account the orientations and priorities of elected officials and decision-makers Ability to organize and conduct meetings and write minutes Ability to prepare and monitor a budget Technical writing skills and mastery of computer tools (including professional service management software) Availability (weekend and evening work possible), responsiveness and sense of public service Discretion and autonomy

Additional Information

Position Full-time (35 hours/week over 4.5 days) Statutory remuneration according to the pay scales + RIFSEEP + CNAS + participation in the pension scheme Engineer grade.
