Purpose

of Role

The Water Treatment Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the Miura branch offices, factory, and Miura representatives regarding maintenance, production, and sales inquiries, while advancing Miura’s water treatment capability inside and outside of the boiler room.

This includes research of current and emerging water treatment technologies, determining internal and/or external sources of products, the creation and implementation of support documents, traveling to customer sites for events such as hands‑on training and maintenance support, reviewing water analysis reports, and answering inquiries from both maintenance and sales.

They are also responsible for analyzing and supporting water treatment business development through activities such as data analysis, product development, and quality improvement.

Communication and collaboration includes daily interaction with employees at all levels within Miura, including but not limited to sales, maintenance, administration, engineering, and production staff, so that support can be provided in a timely manner and correct manner to entities needing support, particularly related to water treatment topics and products.

To continue improving the department and self, candidates will be responsible to gain higher levels of education and experience in water treatment equipment and treatment styles. Candidates that have a solid understanding of Miura’s system and product lineup – such as installation, operation, maintenance, water treatment – with an ability to convey technical information in step‑by‑step instructions using excellent verbal and written communication skills will succeed in this role.

Functions
1) Advance MIURA’s Ability to Perform Water Treatment for an Entire Facility - Inside & Outside of the Boiler Room a. System Development & Integration:
  • Develop, design, and implement water treatment programs for full‑facility coverage, including but not limited to cooling towers, closed‑loop systems, and wastewater.
  • Evaluate existing MIURA technologies and identify opportunities for adaptation or expansion.
  • Develop modular and scalable treatment solutions tailored to diverse facility types.
  • Investigate emerging technologies and water treatment methods.
  • Lead pilot projects and field trials to validate new approaches.
  • Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and external partners to accelerate innovation.
c. Regulatory & Environmental Compliance:
  • Ensure all treatment programs meet local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
  • Promote water conservation, reuse, and sustainability practices.
d. Client & Internal

Collaboration:
  • Work closely with sales and service teams to align solutions with customer needs.
  • Provide technical training and support for new systems.
  • Prepare documentation and manuals materials for new offerings.
