Daniel Defense LLC seeks a Manufacturing Engineer 2 to support the design and optimization of firearms and accessories manufacturing processes in our Georgia facilities. In this role you will develop and improve CNC machining and assembly workflows, design tooling and fixtures, create routings and work instructions, and drive root-cause problem solving to improve quality, throughput, and safety. You will collaborate closely with production, quality, and design engineering in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment that values craftsmanship, patriotism, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize machining and assembly processes for firearms and accessories.
- Create and maintain routings, work instructions, and standard operating procedures for production lines.
- Design and implement tooling, jigs, and fixtures to improve quality, repeatability, and throughput.
- Analyze production performance data and lead continuous improvement projects using lean and SPC tools.
- Partner with quality and design engineering to resolve nonconformances and implement corrective actions.
- Support new product introductions, ensuring manufacturability and smooth transition to full-scale production.
