JOB SUMMARY:This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals eager to build technical expertise in manufacturing and process engineering. You will receive structured on-the-job training and mentorship as you support the development, optimization, and maintenance of mechanical processes for high-quality electronic assemblies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Assist in developing and implementing manufacturing process instructions (MPI).
- Support the design and optimization of mechanical tooling and.
- Participate in process flow analysis to improve efficiency and manufacturability.
- Conduct basic Design for Manufacturability (DFM) assessments.
- Support failure analysis and troubleshooting under guidance from senior engineers.
- Assist document and update standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality, test, and production.
- Participate in training sessions and hands-on learning in PCBA equipment and processes.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Associate’s degree in a relevant technical discipline with equivalent hands-on experience in electrical or manufacturing engineering.
Experience:1 - 3years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment.
Knowledge of PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) or manufacturing processes.
Exposure to or interest in testing, debugging and the use of test equipment in production environment is a plus.
Knowledge of using engineering lab tools or equipment.
Skills:Foundational knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, with a strong interest in electronics manufacturing and PCBA processes.
Eagerness to learn and support the development, implementation, and optimization of PCBA manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with/or willingness to learn the PCBA equipment such as soldering machines, pick-and-place systems, and inspection tools (AOI, 5DX, ICT).
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assist in root cause analysis and process troubleshooting.
Basic proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly.
Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to following engineering standards and quality practices.
Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a plus.
Travel Requirement:
- Position may require up to 20 - 30% travel to other manufacturing sites.
