Credence has an immediate need for a Logistics Equipment Specialist supporting our Fixed Wing Branch at Robins Air Force base, GA.The Fixed Wing Branch (AFLCMC/WIUA) provides cradle-to-grave acquisition, modification and sustainment support for all SOF C-130 variant weapon systems and subsystems supporting five USAF Major Commands (MAJCOMs). The Lead Command for most of the AFLCMC/WIUA activities is Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), which falls under the unified command of United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).
AFLCMC/WIUA also supports Air Combat Command (ACC), Air Education and Training Command (AETC), Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC), and Air National Guard (ANG). The Rotary Wing Branch (AFLCMC/WIUB) provides cradle-to-grave acquisition and sustainment for all USAF helicopters. The branch coordinates acquisition, modification, and lifecycle sustainment to include avionics, depot maintenance, repair, spares procurement, engineering support, configuration control, and reliability/maintainability and obsolescence programs for fielded systems.
AFLCMC/WIUB supports Air Combat Command (ACC), Air Education and Training Command (AETC), Air Force Reserve Center (AFRC), Air National Guard (ANG), Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC), and the Air Force District of Washington (AFDW).
The Logistics Equipment Specialist personnel must be proficient with the systems/programs such as, but not limited to, Reliability and Maintainability Information System (REMIS), Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), Aging Fleet Integrity and Reliability Management (AFIRM), Engineering Data Information Server (EDIS), Enhanced Technical Management System (ETIMS), Item Management Control System (IMCS), Joint Engineering Data Management Information Control System (JEDMICS), Pub Log, Product Data Systems Support (PDSS), Planned Depot Maintenance (PDM) Gateway, and Technical Manual Information System (TMIS).In
addition, the Contractor will demonstrate proficiency in reading, interpreting, and researching technical data and product drawings.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the duties listed below:
Aircraft Modification Support:- Assist the Government in supporting, coordinating, and scheduling aircraft modifications and Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) related activities including but not limited to site/aircraft surveys, major inspections, trial installations, physical configuration inspections, physical configuration audits, kit proofs and production installations.
- Apply knowledge of SOF/PR aircraft to assist the Government with providing on-aircraft technical expertise, advice, assistance, and support.
- Will travel to CONUS/OCONUS Government locations or weapon system contractor facilities to assist the Government with providing maintenance assistance, support, problem resolution and modification program development and field support visits. For those positions, the Contractor will maintain access to flight line and hangars, maintain driver's privileges for industrial area and flight line, and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) safety.
- Provide Personal Protective Equipment to the employee including but not limited to ear protection, and steel-toed boots.
- Assist the Government with providing logistical and technical expertise, including but not limited to evaluation of organizational, intermediate, commodity, Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) and depot Technical Orders (TOs) affected by common or unique modifications. This includes Technical Orders (TOs) for system, subsystem, or support equipment development for, or modified as a result of, modifications programs.
