Job Description
  • Directs, develops, motivates and disciplines branch personnel; administers performance evaluations and recommends appropriate personnel actions
  • Underwrites consumer loans per credit union policy; reviews and approves underwriting decisions of subordinate personnel.
  • Monitors all branch activities to insure they are in compliance with established credit union policies and procedures.
  • Monitors branch operating results relative to established objectives and insures that appropriate steps are taken to address unsatisfactory conditions.
  • Represents the branch as appropriate in its relationships with members, suppliers, other financial institutions, and similar groups. Participates in business development activities.
  • Maintains communications with management; prepares and submits standard reports; attends scheduled management meetings.
  • Controls past due and charged off accounts for the branch.
  • Oversees routine building and grounds maintenance. Makes recommendations regarding major repairs or improvements.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
  • Three to five years of similar or related experience managing a financial center/credit union.
  • Preferred education includes (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing related to the role.
  • Strong training and supervisory skills, compliance, leadership, written and verbal communication skills are required for this role.
