Management Accountant
Minimum 3+ Years experience in Plant / Manufacturing Cost Accounting.

Venteon is currently seeking a Management Accountant to fill an opening with an Industry Leader and Employer of Choice.

Overview

This role supports a high-activity manufacturing operation with key ownership of standard cost processes, inventory controls, and reporting deliverables. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced plant environment, partnering cross-functionally, and improving process accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing/plant accounting environment
• Working experience in SAP (manufacturing modules exposure strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with standard costing fundamentals (rates, cost updates, variance drivers)
• Solid understanding of inventory processes (perpetual inventory, transaction review, physical counts)
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with operations and leadership

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the plant s standard cost system and related governance
• Calculate and maintain overhead and labor rate structures used in product costing
• Support annual standard cost roll activities within the ERP environment
• Maintain and update costing-related master data (part numbers, BOMs, routings)
• Verify and support accuracy of customer pricing elements and related documentation
• Review inventory transactions for accuracy; support perpetual inventory and physical counts
• Prepare month-end entries and analysis; deliver reporting within established deadlines
• Support forecasting and commercial processes including volume forecasts and quote support
