Director of Corporate Accounting

Location: Atlanta

Director of Corporate Accounting Now recruiting on behalf of an Atlanta-based company undergoing transformation as it is growing (organically and through acquisition) and preparing for a future IPO. We are seeking a Director of Corporate Accounting to lead global accounting operations while playing a support role in the implementation of SAP S/4

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this Director of Corporate Accounting will oversee global accounting (General ledger, month end close, reporting) and support ongoing implementation of S4/HANA environment and serve as the SME of SAP.

Key responsibilities include:

Manage global accounting operations, close process, and financial reporting Ensure US GAAP compliance, SOX readiness, and IPO preparation Drive automation, process improvements, and financial systems optimization Partner cross-functionally and lead a high-performing team Support SAP S4/HANA Finance implementation (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, etc.)

The right candidate for this Director of Corporate Accounting will have: CPA designation 9-11+ years of accounting experience - including both corporate accounting and public accounting (Big 4 / global firm audit) Experience in multi-ERP environments and corporate accounting Expertise using SAP or S4/Hana, as well as experience leading finance transformation initiatives Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX Strong leadership experience Preference given to those with IPO readiness or public company experience Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
