Controller, Finance & Banking, Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the accounting team across AR, AP, Inventory/Cost Accounting, and Payroll functions.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Oversee revenue recognition, project accounting, and compliance with ASC 606 standards.
• Direct inventory valuation, cost accounting, COGS analysis, cycle counts, and inventory controls.
• Monitor working capital performance, including accounts receivable, inventory, accounts payable, and cash flow management.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and corporate policies.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and support regulatory reporting requirements.
• Oversee banking relationships, cash management, reconciliations, and payment authorization controls.
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and ERP optimization to enhance financial visibility and efficiency.
• Partner with Operations, Sales, HR, and Finance leadership to provide financial insights that support business performance and decision-making.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
• Progressive accounting leadership experience, preferably within manufacturing, industrial equipment, or distribution environments.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Financial reporting and month-end close
  • Revenue recognition (ASC 606)
  • Inventory and cost accounting
  • Intercompany accounting
  • Internal controls and audit management
• ERP experience (SAP preferred; SAP Business One a plus).
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with reporting tools such as Power BI and One Stream is advantageous.
• Proven ability to lead teams, improve processes, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
