The Sr. Accountant will take on a leadership role within the accounting team, contributing to all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, as well as budget and forecasts preparation. You will also be responsible for improving systems and procedures and initiating corrective actions. Your expertise will ensure the accuracy of accounting information by researching account issues for compliance and by establishing quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to mentor junior staff, ensuring the highest level of financial reporting and control.

• Prepare and review financial statements

A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field with at least 4 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.

Dutch or Spanish Business level language skills would an advantage

Strong skills in accounting software, advanced Excel capabilities, and familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

The ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.

Experience in leading and mentoring junior staff, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects.

A thorough understanding of GAAP, tax codes, and financial regulations.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for reporting financial information to management and stakeholders.

Precision and attention to detail are crucial for ensuring the accuracy of financial records and reports.

CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or similar certification, such as CMA (Certified Management Accountant) or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)
