What You'll DoAs a Loan Officer, you'll serve as a trusted financial partner to our members by:
Guiding members through the consumer loan process from application to closing
Evaluating credit, income, and financial information to make informed lending decisions
Approving loans within lending authority while balancing member service with sound risk management
Helping members understand their financing options and recommending solutions that fit their goals
Building relationships with members, dealerships, and referral partners
Preparing accurate loan documentation and ensuring compliance with lending regulations
Educating members on products and services that provide additional value and financial protection
Delivering an exceptional experience that keeps members coming back
What You’ll BringWe're looking for someone who has:
Consumer lending or banking experience
Strong underwriting and credit analysis skills
Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities
A passion for helping people and delivering outstanding member service
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team

- Working knowledge of Credit Union policies and procedures and federal laws and regulations set forth by the National Credit Union Administration and other regulatory agencies.
- Knowledge of credit ratings and rating agencies and how to use ratings to assess credit worthiness.
- Experience in consumer credit lending
- Skill in calculating financial data.
- Skill in using computers to perform research and enter and analyze data.
- Skill in providing excellent customer service.
- Skill in organizing information and task management.
- Skill in attention to details and in following procedures carefully.
- Team player with desire to do what is needed to complete any task
Minimum Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred.
Experience in banking and/or consumer lending.
Experience in providing customer service.
Physical Demands/Work EnvironmentMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds; and able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
