Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm EST. Job Overview We are seeking a driven, forward-thinking, and highly motivated Credit Analyst to join our clients growing team. This role is responsible for analyzing financial information and credit data to evaluate risk associated with commercial lending and equipment financing transactions. The successful candidate will work closely with the Credit Manager and cross-functional teams to support sound credit decisions, portfolio management, and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities Analyze and underwrite new and existing commercial lease and loan transactions for small to large inventory financing facilities within the equipment industry. Manage the credit and risk review process for semi-standard to complex dealership inventory lines. Review financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, cash flow analyses, and supporting documentation to assess customer creditworthiness. Evaluate financial and non-financial risks and provide sound credit recommendations.

Prepare comprehensive credit presentations and recommendations for senior management approval. Analyze historical, current, and projected financial performance of new and existing customers. Structure commercial credit facilities by determining appropriate collateral, covenants, pricing, monitoring requirements, and risk controls. Monitor commercial loan portfolios, including renewals of maturing loans and lines of credit. Prepare weekly portfolio monitoring and risk management reports. Identify emerging credit risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and proactively monitor problem accounts.

Support collection efforts on delinquent or high-risk accounts as needed. Process daily retail financing transactions for vendor financing programs. Collaborate with internal teams to support vendor finance programs across the United States and Canada. Communicate professionally with customers regarding loan documentation and financing requirements. Assist with drafting, reviewing, organizing, and localizing documentation related to technical modifications and financing processes. Conduct market research and field visits as assigned to support product and financing initiatives.

Stay current with commercial lending practices, industry trends, and applicable regulations. Lead and participate in initiatives that improve operational efficiency and support organizational goals. Build strong working relationships across departments while contributing to a positive, collaborative work environment. Maintain professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all interactions. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Must have Qualifications Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of commercial underwriting experience within the equipment leasing or equipment finance industry. Previous captive finance experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of commercial lending, credit analysis, and financial statement analysis. Experience evaluating commercial loan structures, collateral, and overall creditworthiness. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, Pivot Tables, charts, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to calculate financial ratios, interest, pricing, fees, and related financial metrics.

Experience with nCino and Info Lease/Solifi is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare professional reports and credit presentations. Ability to interpret commercial, consumer, and equipment finance documentation. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a structured, root-cause approach.
