At Daniel Defense, Only the Best Build the Best
Daniel Defense engineers and manufactures the world's finest weapon systems and accessories. Our mission, Honor God. Defend Freedom (R), is accomplished by serving customers and providing top-quality solutions to our military, law enforcement, and civilian customers seeking premium firearms for home defense, hunting, and sport shooting.
The Manager of Pricing Excellence & Commercial Analytics is a newly created role responsible for strengthening how Daniel Defense approaches pricing, product costing, and customer tier strategy across the portfolio. This role partners with New Product Development and Operations on cost initiatives that support company margin objectives, and reviews the pricing structures used across our e-Commerce, MIL-LE, and Commercial customer channels to ensure they remain competitive and advantageous.
Beyond pricing and costing, this role services as a broader strategic financial analytics resource to the CFO and Executive Leadership Team, supporting a range of ad hoc strategic initiatives - including financial analysis in support of potential M&A, investment, or business development opportunities, such as assessing how a target company's product lines, cost structure, and margin profile compare to our own.
The ideal candidate is comfortable building rigorous financial models and executive-ready analysis across a variety of strategic questions, not solely pricing, and can move fluidly between recurring commercial analytics and one-off strategic projects.
