About the Position:
This position is located at the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Martin Army Community Hospital. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
Uses team leaders to direct the work of the branch
Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.
Assigns work to be accomplished; instructs employee in work processes and procedures; and provides technical assistance and guidance on controversial, unprecedented, and problematic situations.
Establishes workflow and functional assignments; determines and distributes work assignments to meet workload demands; sets priorities; and prepares schedules for completion of work.
Contacts Major Command Headquarters and the Office of the Surgeon General for clarifications on the regulations or exceptions to policy.
Initiates formal actions to fill vacancies, interviews candidates, and makes selections for positions supervised.
Uses subordinate work leaders in guiding, coordinating, and controlling the work of the branch.
