Liberty County is hiring a Lateral Firefighter for the Fire Rescue Department. The role requires prior career fire department experience and current employment in good standing.
The position begins with a 1–2 week training evaluation in the Training Division, followed by assignment to an Operations Division station on a 48/96 shift. Responsibilities include responding to fires, medical incidents, Haz Mat, and other calls, plus equipment maintenance and public safety education.
