Basic Job Function
Promote and provide professional esthetic service to members and guest of the Cloister Spa, collaborate with Spa Treatment Manager and internal department heads as needed, and ensure compliance with all departmental and company policies and procedures.
- Minimum one (1) year experience
- State of Georgia Esthetician license
- 1500 credit hours of cosmetology school, 1000 credit hours of esthetician school and/or 2000 hours of apprentice work
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in use of esthetics products and knowledge of techniques

- If applicable, must be flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in compliance with company Dress Code Policy

- Perform daily checklist which entails cleaning, organizing and stocking before and after appointments
- Perform work as determined by Supervisor and Spa Treatment Manager according to the daily schedule
- Establish good communication skills with guests/members to ascertain health records, medications, specific ailments or allergies
- Maintain current knowledge on innovations and skills in the Esthetics field including attendance at workshops and reading professional publications
- Manage the treatment rooms by maintaining desired temperatures, room safety, and providing proper equipment and accessories to standard in coordination with the internal department heads as needed
- Maintain complete, neat, organized records on each program and service when required
- Check work schedule regularly to be aware of upcoming appointments, schedule changes, and changing needs in the spa
- Report any scheduling concerns, all equipment problems and maintenance issues to Spa & Fitness Director, Assistant Director or Spa Manager if needed
- Work closely with Spa other department heads in order to remain updated on all activities
- Promote retail products
- Promote fitness facility, fitness classes, and golf programs
- Advise the Director of any in-house unresolved issue
- Work with the massage therapy team to review policies, procedures, new treatments and trainings. Learn the names and personally recognize our regular Guests and Members
- Record and bill orders accurately into the register system and process payments using guest/member cards in accordance with accounting procedures
