Wellstar Health System - - - Responsibilities:
Prepare medications and/or IV for dispensing and label for pharmacist verification;
Fill Bulk Dispense per department procedure and ensure accuracy of patient-specific medications;
Transport medications to units, maintaining confidentiality and proper delivery procedures;
Demonstrate aseptic technique in IV admixture and maintain clean room standards;
Repackage and barcode medications per Georgia Board of Pharmacy Rules and Regulations
