Job Summary and QualificationsAs an OR Scrub Technician, you will work under the direct supervision of the circulating OR RN to assist the operating surgeon. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other, and are looking for a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.
What you will do in this role:
· You will manage instruments, equipment and supplies for all surgical procedures
· You will perform specific and assigned tasks which are supportive of all patient populations
· You will support, maintain and provide an environment which is supportive of quality care through effective use of resources and personnel.
· You will strive to meet the expectations and needs of customers, respond to concerns with a sense of urgency and seek win-win solutions for unreasonable customer expectations.
· You will seek opportunities for professional growth through participation in continuing education, staff development and hospital committees
Qualifications - External
· Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology
· Experience in OR required
· Must hold current certification in Surgical Technology
· Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- High School Graduate / GED
