Key Responsibilities and Duties
Sanitization: Perform terminal cleaning (deep cleaning) of patient rooms upon discharge and routine cleaning of restrooms, nursing units, and waiting areas.
Infection Control: Adhere to strict protocols for handling infectious waste and cleaning, using appropriate chemical solutions, disinfectants, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Waste Disposal: Dispose of trash and hazardous waste (biohazards) according to strict safety guidelines.
Laundry Services: Clean, wash, fold, and replenish linens, gowns, and towels.
Restocking: Replenish supplies such as toiletries, soap, paper towels, and cleaning agents.
Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report broken, damaged, or malfunctioning equipment and fixtures.
Safety Adherence: Maintain safety standards, including proper chemical labeling and handling.
