The Staff Pad has partnered with a premier healthcare organization in Blue Ridge, GA to hire a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care, for their Cardiopulmonary Department.

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high‑quality cardiopulmonary care to patients across a variety of settings. You’ll work closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver excellent respiratory care and support positive patient outcomes.

Schedule:

Full‑Time | Nights

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing respiratory assessments, treatments, diagnostic evaluations and therapeutic procedures
  • Monitoring and managing patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities
  • Collaborating with physicians, nurses and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Providing clinical guidance, education, and technical support to healthcare staff
  • Operating and maintaining respiratory therapy equipment
  • Responding effectively in high‑pressure, emergency and critical care situations
  • Supporting additional departmental and patient care duties as needed
What We’re Looking For Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision & remain calm under pressure
  • Strong critical thinking, communication and interpersonal skills
Licensure & Certifications
  • Active Georgia Respiratory Care Professional License required
  • NBRC Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist preferred
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS and NRP certifications preferred
  • All certifications must remain active throughout employment
