Position Summary
We are seeking a Substance Use Disorder Counselor to provide high‑quality counseling, education, and case management services for individuals working toward recovery. This rewarding opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

Full‑Time
- Status: Full‑Time
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, plus on‑call one week per month and one Saturday per month
- Reports To: Program Director
- Location: Cuthbert, GA 39840
- Conduct screenings, intakes, and orientations
- Provide and document individual and group education sessions
- Deliver case management and clinical documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
- Support individuals using evidence‑based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and 12‑Step facilitation
- Connect clients with community resources and ongoing supports
- Serve as a positive role model for recovery and healthy living
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC I or II), or a comparable combination of education, certification, training, and experience
- Three (3) years of experience working with individuals with substance use disorders
- Specialized training in addiction services
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of counseling theories, case management, and recovery‑oriented practices
- Proficiency with basic computer software and online applications
- Valid Georgia driver’s license and ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements
- If in recovery, a minimum of two (2) years of continuous sobriety is required
