MRI Technologist

Position Purpose

MRI Technologist to work in the Radiology Department at Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia, Georgia.

Monday‑Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

• Under the direction of the technical supervisor/team leader, perform direct patient care activities and clerical duties assigned by the MRI department.
• Manage patient flow through the department, greet patients, and transport them within the imaging department and back to the patient room or Emergency Department.

• Registered MR or ineligible with ARRT (MR) and eligible for registration.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Graduate of a formal Radiographic technology training program approved by the AMA.
• Preferred:
  One year of experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital environment.
