Job Opportunity
Under general supervision, monitors male residents with developmental disabilities in a residential/home life environment in a 24-hour/7-day facility. Observes, documents, and reports resident behavior/progress on an ongoing basis. Trains and assists residents in basic daily living skills. Maintains a clean, healthy, and safe environment. Duties include taking vitals, assisting with medications, daily living skills, and community outings.
Will work 29 hours per week. Hours for this position will vary and may include night shift work.
Ability to observe and monitor program participants' behavior; ability to train program participants in routine daily living skills; ability to work flexible hours; ability to participate in supportive guidance. Must be proficient with computers.
High school diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 21 years old to apply. Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record with less than 6 points. CNA certification preferred. 6 months of social service experience. Must be able to lift with no restrictions for client care. Experience with home visiting and/or working with the developmentally delayed population preferred but not required.
