Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist II to join our team in Braselton, GA. This is a temporary contract position providing 6-week FMLA coverage. The ideal candidate will have strong venipuncture skills, experience working with Pediatric and geriatric patients, and the ability to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced Patient Service Center (PSC) environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture, capillary, and specimen collection following established procedures.
Accurately label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
Verify patient identification and demographic information before specimen collection.
Obtain patient initials/signatures after venipuncture to confirm specimen labelling accuracy.
Maintain accurate documentation and required records.
Deliver excellent customer service while creating a positive patient experience.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection as needed.
Work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
Support multiple Patient Service Center (PSC) and physician office locations as needed.
Handle multiple priorities efficiently in a high-volume environment.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, including Pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Strong venipuncture and specimen processing skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Basic keyboard and data entry proficiency.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license if travel between locations is required.
Flexibility to work additional hours, weekends, holidays, or overtime based on business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in a Patient Service Center (PSC) environment.
Medical Assistant or Paramedic training.
Phlebotomy certification (preferred; required only in CA, NV, and WA).
Previous customer service experience in a healthcare, retail, or service environment.
