Job Title: Phlebotomist II
Location: Braselton, GA 30517
Position Type: 1+ Month Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 Hours/Week)


Position Overview:
  • We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist II to join our team in Braselton, GA. This is a temporary contract position providing 6-week FMLA coverage. The ideal candidate will have strong venipuncture skills, experience working with Pediatric and geriatric patients, and the ability to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced Patient Service Center (PSC) environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform venipuncture, capillary, and specimen collection following established procedures.
  • Accurately label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
  • Verify patient identification and demographic information before specimen collection.
  • Obtain patient initials/signatures after venipuncture to confirm specimen labelling accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and required records.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while creating a positive patient experience.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
  • Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection as needed.
  • Work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
  • Support multiple Patient Service Center (PSC) and physician office locations as needed.
  • Handle multiple priorities efficiently in a high-volume environment.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, including Pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Strong venipuncture and specimen processing skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic keyboard and data entry proficiency.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license if travel between locations is required.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours, weekends, holidays, or overtime based on business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in a Patient Service Center (PSC) environment.
  • Medical Assistant or Paramedic training.
  • Phlebotomy certification (preferred; required only in CA, NV, and WA).
  • Previous customer service experience in a healthcare, retail, or service environment.

  • Training location may vary based on trainer availability.
