• Perform accurate patient triage, including obtaining vital signs, assessing symptoms, identifying urgent concerns, and communicating findings promptly to providers.
• Perform in-house diagnostic tests, including flu, strep, COVID‑19, urinalysis, and other point‑of‑care tests.
• Assist with procedures such as ear irrigation, splinting, burn care, wound repairs, and other minor interventions under provider supervision.
• Ensure accurate medication dosing for pediatric and adult patients.

• Provide clear, supportive discharge instructions to patients and families.
• Participate actively in patient and caregiver education—helping families understand treatment plans, preventive care, and follow‑up needs.
• Maintain a warm, welcoming demeanor that promotes trust and patient satisfaction.

• Recognize signs of worsening symptoms and promptly alert providers.
• Adhere to all infection‑control procedures and help maintain a clean and safe environment.

• Work collaboratively with providers, nurses, and administrative staff to deliver coordinated, efficient care.
• Contribute to a positive, team‑focused culture through communication, respect, and reliability.
• Participate in team development and quality improvement initiatives.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant training program preferred.
• CMA or RMA certification preferred.
• Previous experience in urgent care or primary care strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of pediatric and adult medication dosing.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient‑first mindset.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast‑paced environment.
• Commitment to patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and stay current with best practices.
• SPANISH is a plus

Pay: $19.00 – $23.00 per hour.
