This is a non-transport, event-based EMS position, ideal for EMTs who want flexible scheduling while maintaining full-time employment elsewhere. EMTs are scheduled for events and may select shifts that align with their primary work schedules. If you are calm under pressure, team-oriented, and committed to professional patient care, this role offers an exciting but disciplined EMS environment. You will serve as a key member of our team, supporting patient assessment, BLS care, and coordinated incident response in a motor sport setting.

Atlanta Motorsports Park's Motorsports Ambulatory Services is the heartbeat of our Emergency Services department. DescriptionKey Responsibilities
- Respond rapidly to medical incidents on and off track
- Perform Basic Life Support (BLS) care and patient assessments
- Assist Paramedics with advanced life support (ALS) interventions
- Obtain and document vital signs and patient histories
- Provide on-site stabilization until transfer of care occurs
- Maintain patient dignity, reassurance, and clear communication
On-Track Safety & Fire Response
- Emergency vehicles safely operated on the track with full situational awareness
- Assist with basic fire suppression when appropriate until county fire arrival
- Follow all race-day safety and emergency response protocols
Coordination & Communication
- Communicate clearly with Paramedics, race control, and safety partners
- Assist engineering and safety teams during incidents when directed
- Participate in scheduled drills, briefings, and training exercises
Documentation & Compliance
- Document assessments, refusals, and transfers according to protocol
- Participate in post-incident reviews and continuous improvement efforts
- Perform ambulance and equipment checks to ensure readiness, par levels, and compliance
Minimum Shift Commitment
- Minimum of two (2) shifts per month
- Event schedules vary based on race calendars and operational needs
- Shifts are communicated in advance whenever possible
Qualifications & Requirements
· Firefighter certification a plus
· Valid driver’s license with acceptable 3-year MVR
· Availability for weekends, select evenings, and open holidays
· Strong communication and customer service skills
· Ability to work effectively as part of a structured EMS team
· Comfort working in a loud, fast-paced motorsports environment
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Ability to bend, reach, and lift 50+lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying annual weather conditions
- Ability to operate effectively in a high-noise, high-energy environment
