Advanced Practice Provider (PA or APRN) - Pulmonary Critical Care
Advent Health Redmond is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider (PA or APRN) to join our dynamic Pulmonary Critical Care team. Position Overview:
As an APP on our Pulmonary Critical Care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care during day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) on a 7-on/7-off schedule, offering exceptional work-life balance. You will collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure continuous coverage and optimal patient outcomes. This role involves managing a broad range of pulmonary and critical care cases and performing advanced procedures within your credentialed scope.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level patient care with direct supervision by the physician.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and hospital leadership to ensure seamless patient management and continuity of care.
- Perform advanced procedures such as chest tube placement, thoracentesis, needle thoracostomy, intubation, lumbar punctures, central and arterial line placement, and other procedures as credentialed.
- Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and proficiency in managing complex critical care and pulmonary cases.
Qualifications:
- Current PA or APRN license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a PA or APRN in a hospital setting.
- Prior ICU experience as an Advanced Practice Provider strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform advanced medical procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
Compensation & Benefits:
