Surgical Technologist - Cardiac VOLOL Camden

Application will be considered for the role of Surgical Technologist.

Under the direction of the Registered Nurse and/or Physician, the Surgical Technologist handles the instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during complex surgical procedures in the following specialties:
Cardiac, Neurosurgical, Neuro‑interventional, and Transplant. The Technologist ensures quality patient care throughout the operative procedure and maintains the sterile field.

• Scrubs for, prepares, sets up and assists during any surgical procedure.
• Provides support to nursing and ancillary departments by transporting and transferring patients to and between units when necessary.
• Prepares instruments and supplies for future procedures.
• Collects and handles specimens according to policy and procedures.

• Required Experience:
  
  One year OR training.

  Education:
  
  High school graduate or equivalent; graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Training Program.
• Training / Certification / Licensure: BLS;
  Surgical Technologist Certification preferred.
• Hourly Rate: $30.37 - $47.20 (actual salary/rate will vary based on experience and internal equity).
