Job Description

Member needs hands‑on support with daily activities due to limited use of one hand and hearing difficulty. Caregiver should be patient, attentive, and able to communicate clearly (speaking slowly, facing the member, confirming understanding). This role is best for someone comfortable providing steady assistance with personal care, safe mobility support, and household tasks. Strong observation skills are important to notice changes in breathing, comfort, or overall condition and report concerns to the agency/family as required.

• Bathing, grooming, and hygiene support
• Dressing assistance (including help with fasteners/buttons due to one-hand limitation)
• Toileting/incontinence care as needed
• Safe transfers and mobility assistance as needed

• Meal preparation and light cooking
• Assist with eating as needed and ensure safe pacing during meals
• Encourage hydration per care plan

• Laundry, changing bed linens, tidying living areas
• Cleaning kitchen/bathroom surfaces used by the member
• Trash removal and basic home organization

• Use clear, face‑to‑face communication due to hearing difficulty
• Provide companionship and reassurance
• Observe and report changes in condition to the appropriate contact
