We are seeking a Substance Use Disorder Counselor to provide high-quality counseling, education, and case management services for individuals working toward recovery. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

  • Schedule:

    Monday–Friday, plus on‑call one week per month and one Saturday per month
  • Location:

    Cuthbert, GA 39840
  • Reports To:

    Program Director
What You’ll Do
  • Conduct screenings, intakes, and orientations
  • Provide and document individual and group education sessions
  • Deliver case management and clinical documentation in a timely and accurate manner
  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
  • Support individuals using evidence‑based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and 12‑Step facilitation
  • Connect clients with community resources and ongoing supports
  • Serve as a positive role model for recovery and healthy living
What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC I or II) OR a comparable combination of education, certification, training, and experience
  • Three (3) years of experience working with individuals with substance use disorders
  • Specialized training in addiction services
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of counseling theories, case management, and recovery‑oriented practices
  • Proficiency with basic computer software and online applications
  • Valid Georgia driver’s license and ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements
Additional Requirements
  • If in recovery, a minimum of two (2) years of continuous sobriety is required
