As a therapist, you'll work alongside a multidisciplinary group of professionals to shape and guide treatment, while also mentoring and supporting program staff through hands-on supervision and professional development. You'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on patient outcomes by leading engaging group sessions and providing meaningful individual and family therapy for acute care patients. This position offers a dynamic blend of clinical care, leadership, and mentorship—ideal for a therapist who enjoys both guiding others and delivering high-quality patient-centered care.

Job duties include:

  • Leading the assessment process for assigned patients, completing comprehensive psychosocial histories and proactively identifying and resolving any gaps in documentation
  • Collaborating with patients' support systems and interdisciplinary team members to ensure a well-rounded understanding of each individual's needs
  • Developing timely, individualized treatment plans with 72 hours of admission, setting a strong foundation of care
  • Creating personalized crisis plans for every patient, ensuring preparedness and continuity of care
  • Providing ongoing clinical oversight to ensure treatment interventions are effectively implemented and aligned with patient goals
  • Partnering with the admissions team to support clinical screenings and step in as needed to assist with assessments
  • Ensuring consistent, high-quality coverage for group, individual, and family therapy sessions based on patient needs and program schedule

Qualifications:

  • Licensed clinician in the state of GA
  • Must have experience of 1+ year
  • Computer proficient with previous heavy data entry experience
  • Experience in outpatient setting preferred
