Phlebotomist

Work Schedule

Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am – 12:00pm, and rotating Saturdays.

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program.
• Three months or more experience as a phlebotomist, if certification is not held.

• Six months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, and Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.

Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
