About Us:

At First Light Home Care, we provide in-home care assistance to seniors or any adult that needs extra assistance with their activities of daily living. We are there to help them maintain their independence so that they do not have to rely on their family members, friends, or neighbors to provide their care for them. The care we provide ranges from personal care, including assistance with bathing, toileting, mobility, hygiene, and eating assistance, to companion care, which includes conversation and company, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and transportation.

We have been serving the Southeast Georgia area for over 13 years now and are very passionate about serving our senior population.

Role Overview:

As a Caregiver / HHA at First Light Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate home care to our clients, ensuring they enjoy their best day, every day. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families and healthcare professionals to deliver the support necessary for our clients’ well‑being. Whether you work Full Time or Part Time, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those you serve.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with their daily activities, including bathing, toileting, mobility, hygiene, and eating.

Provide companionship to clients through conversation and engaging activities.

Perform medication reminders and assist with light housekeeping duties.

Help clients with transportation to appointments or errands when necessary.

Maintain clear communication with families and healthcare professionals regarding clients’ care and needs.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with clients and their families.

Experience in providing personal care or companionship, preferably in a home care setting.

Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Compassionate and patient attitude towards the elderly and those needing assistance.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Bonus If You:

Have certifications such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA).

Possess additional training in specialized areas of care.

Are skilled in additional languages to better communicate with clients.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available for both Full Time and Part Time, with flexibility to work any day of the week, including weekends.

Location:

This position is on‑site only, located in Glynn County, Georgia.
