Location: Aragon

Join our team as a Speech-Language Pathologist providing evaluative and treatment services across the continuum in a hospital setting in Douglasville, GA. You will evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care for speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include treatment planning, documentation, patient and family education, discharge planning, and participation in departmental and professional development activities.

  • Master‘s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active SLP state license required to start the assignment.
  • Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required upon hire.
  • Experience providing evaluation and treatment for speech, language, cognition, voice, and dysphagia in an acute care or hospital-based rehab environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills in documentation of evaluations, plans of care, and treatment sessions according to facility protocols.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred.
  • Experience with hospital electronic medical record systems preferred.
  • FEES certification preferred.
  • Shift hours: 0800–1700.
  • Shift days include a five-day workweek, 5x8 schedule.

The SLP role supports high-quality, patient-centered care by implementing individualized treatment plans, educating patients and families, and coordinating discharge and community referrals. Location Highlights

Douglasville, GA is located near Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park and is approximately 25 miles west of downtown Atlanta. The area offers access to outdoor recreation at Sweetwater Creek State Park within a 20–30 minute drive and shopping and dining options at Arbor Place Mall and downtown Douglasville within the city. Commuting to Atlanta is feasible via I‑20 and local transit connections, supporting a suburban lifestyle with proximity to urban amenities and regional attractions.

Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – $1,749 to $3,557 per week in Rome, GA
  • M‑F 7.5 hours daily, 37.5 guaranteed weekly

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SPEECH‑LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • ASHA certification
  • State Speech Language Pathology License
