PRN Certified Medical Assistant @ Autry State Prison $21 Per Hour

We are currently seeking a PRN Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Autry State Prison located in Pelham, Georgia.

Pay Rate: $21.00 Per Hour The Medical Assistant works under the direction of the RN or LPN and is responsible for monitoring patient vital signs, implementing orders for diagnostic lab test, and assisting the Physician with minor procedures. Additionally responsibilities include recording EKGs, maintaining and cleaning medical equipment, and collecting data for Quality Improvement programs, as assigned.

Current Georgia Medical Assistant license/certification

Current CPRPhlebotomy Certification Required Corrections experience preferred, not required

Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
