School Psychologist - Dacula

Qualifications &

Experience:

• Specialist-level degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited institution
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a School Psychologist
• Proven experience providing assessments, counseling, and consultation in a school setting
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and educators
• Ability to develop and implement behavior management and academic intervention strategies
• Familiarity with IDEA, Section 504, and other federal and state regulations
• Collaborative spirit and flexible approach to supporting team initiatives

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and academic assessments to determine eligibility for special education services
• Provide one-on-one and group counseling to students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges
• Support the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to address students behavioral and learning needs
• Offer crisis intervention, prevention, and response services as needed
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements
