Description
We are currently seeking a dependable Personal Care Aide to provide essential, hands-on support for our clients' daily living and personal care needs. This role is centered on ensuring our clients stay safe, comfortable, and are treated with the utmost dignity within their own homes. You will work one-on-one with clients and their families as a vital part of their daily care team.
Core Responsibilities- Daily Living Support: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and safe mobility (ADLs).
- Health Advocacy: Actively observe and report any changes in client condition, behavior, or overall wellness.
- Nutritional Care: Prepare customized meals based on dietary requirements and provide feeding assistance when necessary.
- Home Environment: Manage light housekeeping tasks (laundry, tidying, and organizing) to maintain a safe living space.
- Transportation: Provide safe transit for clients to medical appointments and essential errands.
- Safe Handling: Perform secure transfers and repositioning to ensure client comfort and safety.
- Clear Documentation: Maintain accurate, detailed records of care activities and patient observations.

Requirements
What We're Looking For- Background: Prior experience in home care, assisted living, or memory care environments is preferred.
- Specialized Knowledge: Experience with dementia, Alzheimer's, or developmental disabilities (Autism/IDD) is a plus.
- Compliance: A solid understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy standards.
- Credentials: Current CPR and First Aid certification is required (must be obtained prior to start date).
- Physical Ability: Capability to safely assist with physical tasks and manual transfers.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, families, and supervisors.
- Character: A patient, reliable, and genuinely compassionate professional attitude.
