Urology Advanced Practice Provider

Full-time APP opportunity in urology at Advent Health Gordon.

Requirements:

• Advanced practice provider – nurse practitioner or physician assistant – licensed in Georgia.
• Eligible to be state licensed in the U.S.

Duties:

• Acts as the primary physician extender.
• Provides medical treatment under the supervision of the physician.
• Conducts patient examinations and follow-ups, provides treatment plan.
• Inpatient rounding.
• Works with complex surgical patients both pre and post operatively.
• Obtains and dictates history and physical, progress notes, and discharge summaries to document care given to patient.
• Ensures all pertinent data in patient charts are counter-signed by the supervising physician.
• Coordinates advanced diagnostic and therapeutic patient care procedures by assisting with the technical and medical aspects of simulation and treatment planning.
• Other duties as assigned.
