Job Opportunity
We're looking for a dedicated and forward-thinking Speech-Language Pathologist to join an elementary school team in a full-time maternity leave coverage role. This position begins in February 2026 and extends through May 20, 2026, supporting student services through the conclusion of the school year. You'll support a caseload of roughly 55 students in grades 3–4, delivering high-quality direct therapy as well as consultative services guided by individualized communication goals.
Core responsibilities include administering evidence-based interventions, tracking student progress, maintaining compliant records, and upholding all relevant state and district requirements.
Role Details:
Partner with classroom teachers to embed communication strategies within everyday instruction. Collaborate with families to support speech and language skills across home and school settings. Contribute to a welcoming school culture that uplifts student voice, confidence, and participation. Support meaningful student growth as part of a cooperative, mission-driven multidisciplinary team. Work in tandem with related service professionals to ensure cohesive, student-focused programming.
Requirements ASHA certification is essential for consideration. A Master's Degree in Speech Pathology or a related field. Eligibility or possession of an SLP license in the state of Georgia.
