Position OverviewARP is seeking a Primary Therapist to deliver high-quality therapeutic services to clients in a substance use and mental health treatment setting. This role is ideal for clinicians who are clinically strong, proactive, and passionate about recovery-focused care.
Acceptable Licensure:
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Associate Professional Counselor (APC)
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy services
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and determine clinical appropriateness for treatment
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment and service plans
- Monitor client behavior and progress throughout treatment
- Deliver crisis intervention services and follow established protocols
- Conduct intake interviews and make referral recommendations as needed
- Document services accurately and in compliance with clinical standards
- Communicate significant incidents to the Clinical Director
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team
- Uphold and embody the mission, vision, and values of Southern Live Oak Wellness, LLC
- Active Georgia licensure or associate-level license (APC, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW)
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with high-acuity mental health clients
- 3–5 years of experience in substance use and/or mental health treatment preferred
- Experience leading group therapy and providing individual and family therapy
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-based environment
- High level of initiative, professionalism, and clinical judgment
- CPI and CPR/First Aid certification preferred (training provided if needed)
