Job Description
Administers, scores, and interprets psychological assessments under the supervision of a licensed clinical psychologist. Proactively supports efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and promote a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
Experience
* 2 years of experience in work-related field setting or administration and scoring of neuropsychological and/or psychological tests along with a Bachelor's degree
OR
* 1 year of experience with a Master's degree. This experience can include experience gained as part of a graduate training program.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in psychological assessment in a pediatric outpatient and/or inpatient setting
* Master's degree in Psychology from an accredited school
* Experience in psychological assessment in a medical setting
* Bilingual English/Spanish
Education
* Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field from an accredited school
Certification Summary
* Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Proficiency with designated assessment measures across cognitive domains
* Accuracy with administration and scoring of assessment measures
* Well-written behavioral observations
* Timeliness with documentation
* Personal organization and time management
* Human relations and teamwork
* Personal adaptability and motivation

Job Responsibilities
* Administer psychological assessments and testing, predominantly in the outpatient setting.
* Document patient information according to hospital policy.
* Maintain professional development.
* Participate in the achievement of organizational and departmental goals.
* Perform other responsibilities as required.
