Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist team supporting an outpatient clinic in Ringgold, GA where you will help patients recover from orthopedic injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new region.

Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA

Active GA Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment

BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required

Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred. (Preferred)

Productivity expectations: ability to meet approximately 60 visits per week and manage 12–14 patients per day, including scheduled double‑booking of follow‑up visits. (Client‑specific requirement)

Experience working in clinics with travel team options or multi‑clinic coverage preferred. (Preferred)

Ability to obtain approval from clinic director before working overtime. (Client‑specific requirement)

Open to Physical Therapist Assistants only if clinic approves. (Client‑specific requirement)

Accepts first‑time travelers and new graduates. (Client‑specific information)

Shift: Days.

Primary patient population:
Outpatient orthopedics.

Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week, with expectation to work up to 40 hours.

Overtime must be approved by director prior to working.

Travel team option available at this clinic or neighboring clinics.

Float requirement:
No floating to other clinics.

Chattanooga, TN is approximately 20 minutes north and provides the Tennessee River waterfront, the Walnut Street Bridge, and a large urban arts district. The area is within 1 hour of Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park and approximately 90 minutes from Lookout Mountain attractions and Rock City, offering hiking, scenic overlooks, and cave tours for an active lifestyle.
