Program Overview:
River Edge is seeking a licensed or license-eligible Mental Health Clinician with a master’s in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field. Based at our Adult Outpatient Center, this role involves conducting behavioral health assessments for adults with mental health, substance use, developmental, or co-occurring disorders. Ideal candidates are passionate professionals looking to grow within a mission-driven, nationally recognized organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct confidential behavioral health assessments and develop solution-focused treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
- Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and collaborative documentation.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records, including treatment plans, case notes, and discharge summaries.
- Participate in clinical supervision, staff meetings, case conferences, and ongoing training.
- Ensure compliance with all agencies, state, and regulatory policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Licensed in either - LAPC, LMSW, LAMFT, LMFT, LPC, LCSW) or license eligible.
- Recent graduates with a Master's in a behavioral health field are encouraged to apply if license is eligible.
- Master's degree in social service field (Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Human Services) or related field
- At least one (1) year of postmaster's experience providing mental health and substance abuse treatment. (preferred)
