What You ll Do

• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments for inmates/residents based on records review and clinical interviews.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and physicians to ensure integrated care.
• Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans based on client needs and functioning levels.
• Perform rounds in confinement areas to assess mental health and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
• Provide individual counseling and crisis intervention tailored to inmate mental health needs.
• Deliver psychological interventions using evidence-based counseling techniques.
• Document assessments, treatment progress, and ensure compliance with facility protocols.

What You Need

• Valid license as a Psychologist or proof of board eligibility.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in clinical or correctional psychology.
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment, counseling techniques, and crisis management.
• Ability to work independently within a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills and cultural competency.
